Doris Mae Woloszyn, 85, of Chewton passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2022 at Quality Life of New Castle.
Born on April 18, 1937 in Wayne Township, Doris was the daughter of the late Samuel and Jessie Keith Wallace. Doris was preceded in death by the love of her life, Andrew J. Woloszyn on December 23, 2011. They were married on October 6, 1956.
Whether it was cutting the grass or gardening, Doris enjoyed the outdoors. She also enjoyed doing puzzles and ceramics, but mostly the time she spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren gave her the most pleasure.
Doris is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Daniel and Sue Woloszyn of Shenango Township, her son-in-law, Denny Stabryla of Chewton, her sister, Eleanor Burns of Wurtemburg, 3 grandchildren, Andi and Robert Stein, Joshua and Tricia Woloszyn and Treasa and Scott Ross, 9 great grandchildren, Genevieve Stein, Sebastian Stein, Isaiah Woloszyn, Madison Woloszyn, Steven Woloszyn, Araya Ross, Isabella Ross, Scott Ross, Jr. and Alexis Ross.
Besides her parents and husband, Doris was preceded in death by her daughter, Cynthia Stabryla, a great granddaughter, Samantha Woloszyn and 3 brothers, Sam, Donnie and Ted Wallace.
Friends may call at the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 97 Grim Avenue, Ellport on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 from 6 PM to 8 PM and on Thursday, May 19, 2022 from Noon until the time of the Funeral Service at 1 PM with Pastor Tom Milnes.
Interment will follow in Harmony Baptist Cemetery.
