Mrs. Rose Marie (Marazzi) Rossi, 85, of Ellwood City passed away on Thursday, May 12th, 2022 at the Allegheny General Hospital.
Mrs. Rossi was born on April 8th, 1937 in Darlington, PA, to the late Philip and Antonetta (Zalli) Marazzi. Rose Marie was a graduate of Darlington High School, class of 1955. After graduation she worked in the sales office of the Babcock & Wilcox Company, and later for the Ellwood City Area Public Library. Rose Marie was a member of the Holy Redeemer Parish. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Rose Marie was married on September 17th, 1960 to Anthony L. Rossi who passed away on August 9th, 2018.
She is survived by her sons, Mark Rossi of Cranberry Twp. and Michael Rossi of Perry Twp., granddaughters, Carli Rossi of Auburn, AL, Emily (Ryan) Zabrosky of Harrisburg, and Allie Rossi also of Harrisburg, and sisters, Dolores Tilbrook of Beaver Falls and Angeline DiCarlo of Darlington. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Theresa DeCaro and Madeline Rossi, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Anthony in 2018, daughter Jennifer in 2004, brother Robert Marazzi and brothers-in-law, John DeCaro and John Rossi.
Visitation will be held on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Crematory Inc.. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 am at the Holy Redeemer Church with Father Mark Thomas officiating. Interment will follow at the Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
Memorial contributions in Mrs. Rossi’s name may be made to the Holy Redeemer Angel Fund or to the Ellwood City Area Public Library.
