Roughly 2.6 million weddings are expected to happen in 2022, the most since 1984, according to the The Knot experts, and many are already fast on their way to ‘happily ever after’ after tying the knot earlier this year.
A majority of the planned 2022 celebrations may be rescheduled events from the last two years. The rest are likely to be dominated by couples who became engaged during the pandemic.
“Weddings are, without a doubt, back to pre-pandemic levels,” says Hannah Nowack, Real Weddings editor at The Knot.
