Betty Spielvogel, 91

Betty Spielvogel, 91, of Ellwood City passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at Heritage Valley Medical Center, in Beaver. She was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Josephine (Mora) Moskal and was born September 21, 1930 in Ellwood City.

She is survived by her children; Sandra Bieselt and her husband Michael of Ellwood City, Thomas Spielvogel of Ellwood City, Daniel Spielvogel and his wife Tina of Virginia Beach,VA, grandchildren; Zachary Bieselt, and Alexandra Bieselt of Ellwood City, Alesia Spielvogel and Daniela Spielvogel both of Virginia Beach, great-grandchildren; Telsa and Ernest Brady, one sister-in-law; Phyllis Fedorchak, brothers-in-law; James Spielvogel and his wife Arlene Gerald Spielvogel and his wife Rosemary.

She was a 1948 graduate of Lincoln High School and she met and married the love of her life Eugene Spielvogel, in 1950. She was an animal lover and loved reading, especially anything by Danielle Steel. She loved playing Bingo. Most of all she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to all who knew her. She was always there to help anyone who needed it, no matter what.

She was preceded in death by her husband, of 22 years Eugene Spielvogel, brothers; Raymond Moskal and his wife Betty and John Moskal and his wife Dorothy, brothers-in-law; Regis Spielvogel and his wife Lee and Joseph Spielvogel.

Interment was in Holy Redeemer Cemetery in Ellwood City.

Following Betty’s wishes, her services were private.

In lieu of flowers the family is asking memorial donations be made, in Betty’s name, to Lillyville Church of God located at 408 Hickernell Rd Ellwood City.

Arrangements entrusted to the TURNER FUNERAL HOME located at 6th and Park in Ellwood City.
