Ellwood City Little Wolverines Announces 2022 Cheer Boot Camp

The Ellwood City Little Wolverines will hold a cheer boot camp over the course of three Saturdays in late February and early March

The camp is for children currently in grades 2nd through 5th and will be held on Saturday, February 19th, Saturday, February 26th, and Saturday March 5th from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on each Saturday.

The camp is scheduled to take place at Diamond Dance Academy, located at 310 1st Street, in Ellwood City.  The cost is $35.00 per child which includes a t-shirt.

The camp will focus on getting ready for ECLW Cheer tryouts. It is highly recommended that the child attend the camp if they are planning to try out for the 2022 ECLW Cheer season. Fundamentals of cheer such as jumps, spiriting, motions, and light tumbling will be some of the areas covered at camp. A child must have hair pulled up and out of face, appropriate clothing, and asked not to wear street shoes into camp. Bring a pair of gym shoes to change into for camp and an attending child must bring own water bottle.

Those interested are asked to submit a completed form along with a check or money order (payable to ECLW Cheering) by February 9, 2022.
