Ernest F. Borroni, 84, of New Castle passed away Monday, January 3, 2022 at Quality Life Services in Grove City.
Born June 9, 1937 in New Galilee, he was the son of the late Angelo and Margaret Colaizzi Borroni.
Ernest was a retired steel worker who worked in the piercing mill. After his retirement, he was the beloved custodian at the Lawrence County Vo-Tech. He was a member of the LMBA of New Galilee.
Survivors include his wife Dorothy Hall Borroni; daughter, Terri Arias; son, Ken Borroni; two granddaughters, Jamie Westbury and Mallory Mahoney and two great grandchildren Harper and Aiden.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Joan Valentino Borroni and brothers Carl and Joseph Borroni.
Visiting hours will be held on Saturday January 8, 2022 from 1:00 pm until the time of the Funeral Service at 4:00 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home, 341 Main Street Wampum. Pastor Stacey Cox will officiate.
Interment will be a private ceremony at Clinton Cemetery at a later date.
The family would like all visitors and friends to consider not attending if they are feeling ill or if recently exposed to Covid-19.
