Linda (Mercado) Boots, 53

Linda (Mercado) Boots, 53, of New Brighton passed away Thursday, November 11th, 2021 surrounded by her family, at her residence.

Linda was born on November 24th, 1967 in Ellwood City to the late Leon and Nancy (Wright) Mercado. She attended Riverside High School. Linda worked at Wendy’s in Cranberry Township as a cashier and then at W.J. Service in Ohio. She was a member of the Ellwood City Women’s pool league for many years and enjoyed playing bingo. Most of all, Linda adored her large family and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughters Melinda, Tiffany, and Carissa Pounds, Kristina Parker, and Renee Boots, her sons, Andrew Mercado, Michael, Adam, Justin, Joseph, Zachary, Tyler, and Cullen Pounds, and Ricky Boots, her grandchildren, Emily Mercado, Ralphie, Raeghan, and Michael Pounds, Joseph Grosz, Marcus Ellis, Maribel, Marleny, and Marilyn Enamorado, Sofia, Serenity, and Savannah Hurt, Zachary and Zander Weller, and Gabby and Cameron Parker, her husband, Andrew Boots, and her sisters, Judy (Paul) Johnston, and Ricki (Troy) Hunt.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A public visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 16th, 2021 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm, and on Wednesday from 10:00 am until the time of funeral service at 11:00 am, at the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Crematory Inc..
