Mr. Richard R. Heasley, 69, of Ellwood City passed away on Thursday, October, 28, 2021 at the Heritage Valley Medical Center with his loving family at his bedside.
Mr. Heasley was born on February 6, 1952 in New Castle to the late Bruce and Mary Ruth (McKee) Heasley. He had graduated from New Castle High School with the class of 1970. Richard worked at Castle Brand in New Castle as a meat packer, and later for the Phoenix Glass Co. in Monaca as a material handler.
An outdoors man he enjoyed gardening, working in the yard, riding his side-by-side, hunting, fishing, and most of all spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Sherri (Casuccio) Heasley whom he married on November 2, 1991, daughters, Christine (Jim) Radich of Perry Twp. and Jamie (Dave) Kotuby of Chippewa Twp., sons, Bob (Jennifer) Heasley of North Sewickley Twp. and Tom (Jessica) Heasley of Edinburg, grandchildren, R.J. Knight, Jared Knight, Sarah Radich, James Radich, and Jaxon Kotuby, great-grandchild, Ryleigh Knight, sisters, Debbie Heasley of New Castle and Janice Heasley of Florida, and his brother, Dave (Barbara) Heasley of Idaho.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Thomas Heasley and Robert “Bubba” Heasley.
A Celebration of Richard’s Life will be held at a later date. Final arrangements are entrusted to the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Crematory Inc..
Memorial donations in Richard’s name may be made to the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
