Saint Vincent College Players Present ‘CLUE: On Stage!’ October 29-31

LATROBE, PA – The Saint Vincent College Players will present three performances of the comedy, “Clue: On Stage!” at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 29, Saturday, Oct. 30 and a 2 p.m. matinee on Sunday, Oct. 31, in the Performing Arts Center of the Robert S. Carey Student Center on the Saint Vincent campus.

Tickets are all general admission and will be available beginning one hour prior to each show in the box office of the Performing Arts Center. The theatre doors will open 30 minutes prior to the start of each performance. The cost is $15 for adults and $10 for children 12 and under. Saint Vincent students, faculty, staff and Benedictines will be admitted free with valid ID.

Written by Sandy Rustin, adapted from the classic Hasbro Inc. board game Clue and inspired by the Paramount Pictures film written by Jonathan Lynn, “Clue: On Stage” is a captivating comedic murder mystery that follows several eccentric characters as they attempt to solve the murder of their party host.

The SVC Players production will be directed by Greggory Brandt, Assistant Professor of Theater and director of stage and Summer Theater. “I couldn’t be more excited about directing this funny and popular play,” Brandt shares. “The students are doing a fabulous job with this comedic and iconic material and are also so thrilled to perform live theater again at SVC.”

Beth Steinberg will serve as the costume designer, Hazel Braun will serve as the piano accompanist, Becky Ziegler-Koch will serve as the set designer, Christopher Robin will serve as the lighting designer and Dwight Brown will serve as the sound designer.

The cast includes:

  • Justin Massetto, a senior music performance major from Murrysville, as Wadsworth.
  • Josie Rodell, a junior history major from Latrobe, as Yvette.
  • Margaret Sullivan, a sophomore music performance major from Waldorf, Maryland as The Cook.
  • John Crocetti, a senior corporate finance and musical performance major from Connellsville, as Colonel Mustard.
  • Kendra Smithbauer, a senior marketing major from St. Marys, as Mrs. White.
  • Emily Bosche, a junior mathematics major from Harrisburg, as Miss Scarlet.
  • Anna Doelling, a sophomore biology major from Latrobe, as Mrs. Peacock.
  • Spencer Millay, a freshman criminology, law and society major from Montoursville, as Professor Plum.
  • Christopher Paluzzi, a senior media and graphic design major from Latrobe, as Mr. Green.
  • Devin Barrett, a sophomore biology major from North Huntingdon, as Mr. Boddy.
  • Paige Thatcher, a junior English major from Trafford, as Singing Telegram Girl.
  • Thomas Anand, a sophomore biochemistry major from Wexford, as the Chief of Police.
  • Isabel Sicree, a senior English and creative writing major from Boalsburg, as The Unexpected Cop.
  • Ethan Kammerer, a sophomore early childhood education major from Greensburg, as The Motorist.

The ensemble of women used for various extra roles include:

  • Megan Mascilli, a senior criminology, law and society major from Pittsburgh (15239).
  • Francesca Florie, a junior integrated health major from Ellwood City.
  • Sarah Mott, a junior communication major from Greensburg.

Hannah Cole, a senior chemistry major from Parkville, Maryland, will serve as stage manager, and Madison Deen, a junior psychology major from Pittsburgh (15202), will be the assistant stage manager.
