Jeffrey E. Schwartz, 60, of Ellwood City, passed away on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at Butler Health System.
Born in Beaver Falls on September 28, 1961, Jeff was the son of Judith Hall Schwartz of Ellwood City and the late Kenneth O. Schwartz, Sr. An electrical engineer, Jeff worked at Ellwood Quality Steel in New Castle. He loved to ride his Harley, hunt, fish and spend time at camp. Jeff’s life revolved around his family, especially his children and grandchildren.
In addition to his mother, Jeff is survived by his three children, Jason J. (Nicki) Schwartz, Leah (Pat Duncan) Schwartz and Sarah (Drayke) Lane, all of Ellwood City, two brothers, Kenneth (Mary) Schwartz, Jr. of Wampum and Wilbert (Rhonda) Schwartz of Ellwood City, a sister, Dana (Bob) Karenbauer of New Castle and eleven grandchildren.
Jeff was preceded in death by his father and two grandsons.
Friends will be received from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, October 10th at the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 97 Grim Avenue, Ellport. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 8:00 PM. Interment will take place in Lillyville Church Cemetery.
It was a pleasure working with someone who had a forever smile. There was never a task, no matter how daunting, that Jeff didn’t handle without the utmost enthusiasm and optimism. My sincerest sympathy goes out to his family. Jeff’s passing has to have left a hole in their hearts and lives that will be difficult to fill.
