JoAnne G. Montgomery, 80 of Ellwood City, passed away at Jameson Care Center on Sunday, September 26, 2021.
Born in Castlewood, PA on September 27, 1940, JoAnne was the daughter of the late John Clifford and Jessie Geraldine Kiesling Johnston. JoAnne was preceded in death by her first husband, Ralph “Ted” Hoffman and her second husband, John “Jack” Montgomery. JoAnne worked for over 40 years at Freeman’s Buick & Pontiac and later when it became Legend. She later was one of the original founders of Autosoft International in West Middlesex, where she worked for over 20 years.
In JoAnne’s younger days she enjoyed playing golf, card club and traveling. She also enjoyed garage sales and thrift shopping. She loved cooking and hosting meals for family and all that came along with them. She loved and gave beyond measure to all who surrounded her.
Surviving are 2 daughters, Pamela (Tom) Socash of Old Forge, NY and Patricia McCullough of Toledo, OH, 9 Grandchildren, Brooke, Pete and Paul Hoffman, Tyler, Trey and Eric Socash, Nikki Robinson, Miles and Morgan McCullough, 11 Great Grandchildren, Kaden and Adiella Hoffman, Kaylee Malcolm, Taylor and Maxwell Hoffman, Amelia and Langston Hoffman, Eloise, Reese and Brooks Robinson and Remi Socash, 2 Great Great Grandchildren, Nevaeh and Atlas Hoffman and many treasured nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and husbands, JoAnne was preceded in death by a son, Jeffre Hoffman and 2 brothers, Clifford and James Johnston.
Friend may call at the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 97 Grim Avenue, Ellport on Saturday, October 2, 2021 from 12:30 to 2:30 PM where a service will follow with Tom Milnes of Ellport Community Church.
Interment will be in Oak Park Cemetery.
