Eva M. Main, 66, of Ellwood City passed away on September 19th, 2021 at the VA Hospital H.J. Heinz Campus in Aspinwall.
Eva was born on October 31st, 1954 in Ellwood City to the late Woodrow and Rose (Rosaci) Main. She gradated from the Riverside High School with the class of 1972. Eva then enlisted with the U.S. Army on March 29th, 1988, and was honorably discharged on September 8th, 1995, she was a very proud veteran of Operation Desert Storm. Eva worked at Alsy Lighting in Ellwood City, and more recently at Walmart in Chippewa.
Eva is survived by her sisters, Rose (Tom “Mugsy”) Watson, of Ellwood City and Linda McKelvey of Beaver Falls, her brothers, Woody (Nikki) Main of Hickory, PA, Tim (Becky) Main of Ohio, Rodney (Debbie) Main of Wampum, Alan (Sonya) Main of Beaver, and C. Lee (Trishia) Main of Highspire, PA, and her special friend, Robert Yerrace of Ellwood City.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister, Loretta Prestopine.
As per Eva’s wishes there will be no public visitation or service. Final arrangements have been entrusted to the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Crematory Inc..
Eva was my oldest friend. We served together in Operation Desert Storm. I loved her dearly. She will be tremendously missed. She was a kind and gentle soul. I will never forget her.
