Ellwood City Cub Scout Pack 806 is holding sign-ups for the 2021-2022 scouting year.
Registration will be held on Monday, September 13 from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm and Wednesday, September 15 from 6:00 pm to 6:30 pm in the Fellowship Hall of First United Methodist Church, 416 Crescent Ave., Ellwood City.
Parents will be asked to attend a parent informational meeting on Wednesday, September 15 at 6:30 pm at the church. All boys Kindergarten through 5th grade are welcome to sign up. For more information, please contact Pack 806 at cubpack806@gmail.com or come to one of the registration nights.
The overall objective is to provide a safe, FUN atmosphere where boys can grow while learning the core values of scouting: citizenship, compassion, cooperation, courage, faith, health and fitness, honesty, perseverance, positive attitude, resourcefulness, respect, and responsibility.
In addition to the weekly den meetings, which are held on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm, the pack has many activities throughout the school year and summer, including tent and cabin camping, fishing, hiking, community service projects, participation in parades, parties and many more.
