Mrs. Ruth E. Flinner, 96 of Wampum passed away Friday, September 3rd 2021, at her residence.
Ruth was born on August 30th, 1925 in Ellwood City to the late Forrest and Florence (Arnold) Dobson. Ruth was a waitress at Perkin’s in New Castle, and a member of The First Christian Church. She enjoyed knitting, ceramics, and horseback riding.
She is survived by her daughters, Carol (Gary) Myers of Wampum, and Donna (Bob) Wacht of Pulaski Twp., her 5 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Floyd W. Flinner, her son, Floyd B. “Skinner” Flinner, and her daughter-in-law, Dianne (Mudrick) Flinner.
As per Ruth’s wishes, there will not be a public visitation or service. Inurnment will be at the Slippery Rock Cemetery. Final arrangements have been entrusted to the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Crematory Inc..
