Operation On My Way Out Nets Drug Arrest

According to a Lawrence County District Attorney’s Office social media post, Operation On My Way Out netted an arrest in New Castle last week.

On Thursday, August 19, 2021, Detectives from the District Attorney’s Special Investigations Unit (SIU), New Castle City Police Narcotics, and the Office of the Pennsylvania Attorney General executed a search warrant at 726 Hazen Street in the City of New Castle.

Detectives had an active felony arrest warrant for the resident of the house, David Querriera, and waited until he was exiting his residence before they took him into custody.

The search incident to his arrest revealed that he was in possession of two plastic baggies containing suspected crack cocaine, 5 Suboxone strips and U.S. currency. A search of his residence also revealed additional illegal narcotics and indicia of drug distribution. In total the following was seized: 8.4 grams of suspected cocaine, 39 grams of suspected crack cocaine, 3 digital weigh scales and $1,017 in U.S. currency.

Mr. Querriera was transported to the Lawrence County Jail and arraigned on 3 counts of Possession with Intent to Deliver and 1 count of drug Paraphernalia.
