Mrs. Stella J. Fray, 98, of Ellwood City passed away on Sunday, August 8th, 2021 at the Avalon Place in New Castle.
Mrs. Fray was born in Aliquippa on November 15th, 1922 to the late Stanley and Stella Briczinski. She had graduated from Aliquippa High School with the class of 1941. Stella is also a member of the Holy Redeemer Parish and the Holy Redeemer Christian Mothers.
She is survived by her daughters, Marian Fray, Colleen (Joe) Flecher both of Ellwood City, and Patricia (Fred) Herrman of Beaver Falls, son, Gary Fray of Ellwood City, grandchildren, Kristen (Russ) Ochsenhirt, Leslie (Rudy) Mamula, Marla (Andrew) Welch, Samantha (Devin) Walsh, Joetta (Benjamin) Vroman, and Arthur Herrmann, eleven great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Edward S. Fray whom she married on February 20th, 1954 and passed away on December 6th, 2018, her son, Arthur Fray, sisters, Wanda Briczinski and Helen Pasloskey, and brother, Stanley Briczinski.
A private Visitation will by held for the Mrs. Fray’s family on Thursday morning at the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Crematory Inc. Family and friends are then invited to a mass of Christian burial on Thursday at Noon at the Holy Redeemer Church. Members of the Holy Redeemer Christian Mothers are asked to meet at the church on Thursday by 11:50 am to form an honor guard. Interment will follow at the Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
Mrs. Fray’s family would like to thank the Avalon Place and Mother Teresa Hospice for the wonderful care that they extended to her.
Memorial contributions in Mrs. Fray’s name may be made to the Holy Redeemer Social Services.
