Wilbert S. Cover, Jr., 86, of Ellwood City, passed away on Thursday, August 5, 2021 at the Grove at New Castle.
Born on May 25, 1935 in Blairsville, Pennsylvania, Wilbert was the son of the late Wilbert and Helen Adams Cover. He retired from Townsend where he worked as a wire drawer. Wilbert was a Veteran of the Unites State Marine Corps. He enjoyed camping, fishing and hunting.
Wilbert is survived by his son, Wilbert S. Cover, III of West Middlesex, his daughter, Sharon Cover of Ellwood City, four grandchildren: Brett Cover, Crystal Soisson, Eric Bracken and Luke Cover, two great-grandchildren, Connor Soisson and Jackson Cover and his former wife, Beverly Cover of Ellwood City.
In addition to his parents, Wilbert was preceded in death by two sons, Jeffrey Cover and James Cover.
Services for Wilbert are private. Interment will take place in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. Arrangements were entrusted to the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 97 Grim Avenue, Ellport.
