Mary Anne Meyer, 76 of Ellwood City passed way peacefully on Saturday, July 10th 2021 at her residence surrounded by her loving family after a brief illness.
Born on March 6th, 1945 in Pittsburgh, PA, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Anne (Kelly) Sill. She graduated from the St. George’s Catholic High School and Duff’s Business School. She was married on September 23rd, 1967 to the late, Walter Meyer who was the love of her life for over 50 years until his passing on May 13th, 2018.
Mary Anne worked many years for the FBI as an intake specialist in Boyers, PA and then retired from the Lawrence County MHMR after 20 years of service. She was a member of the Holy Redeemer Church. She was an avid reader and enjoyed sewing, but she loved to bake the most, especially Christmas cookies for everyone. She cherished time spent with her family particularly her grandchildren and her grand-dogs, Sammie and Bentley. She was loved and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her daughters, Katherine Snyder (Kristopher Dugan) of Charleroi, PA, Mary Anne (Eric) McConahy of Neshannock Twp., and Kelly Meyer of Beaver County, her sons, Walter Meyer , John (Jamie) Meyer, and Joseph Meyer all of Ellwood City, her grandchildren Amber (Samuel), Brock (Jarae), Troy, Kale, Brian, Morgan, Kenny, Abbie, and Lucas, her great-grandchildren. Jayden and Rowan, her sisters, Eileen Sill of Ft. Myers, FL and Kitty Sill of Salt Lake City, Utah, her brothers Daniel of San Francisco, CA, Michael (Colleen), Harry, Patrick, and Robert (Patsy) Sill all of Pittsburgh, her sister-in-laws, Marylou, Marge, MaryAnn, Linda, Elizabeth, and Judy, and her brother-in-laws, David, William, and Francis.
She was preceded in death by husband, her parents, her father and mother in-law, John and Viola (Brown) Meyer, her brother John Sill, sister-in-laws Bonnies, Barbara, Mary and Rosemary, her brother-in-laws, John, Robert, Jerry, Ronald, and Mike, and her beloved dog, Pepperoni.

Public visitation will be held on Thursday, July 15th, from 4 pm until the time of service at 7pm at the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Crematory Inc. Inurnment will follow at the Slippery Rock Cemetery.
