Darlene B. Tillia, 88, of Ellwood City, passed away in her residence on Monday, July 12, 2021.
Born in Molitor, Wisconsin on July 10, 1933, Darlene was the daughter of the late William and Minnie Zimkie Parkhill. Her husband, Everett Tillia predeceased her in 1991. They had met in Wisconsin while Darlene was working for Wisconsin Bell Telephone and when Everett heard her voice on the line, he knew he had to meet her. Darlene was a Jehovah’s Witness and she enjoyed walking and reading.
She is survived by her children; Duncan (Frances)Tillia of Riverside, CA, David Tillia of Osceola, WI, Sean (Cora) Tillia, Todd (Theresa) Tillia and Tom (Linda) Tillia, all of Ellwood City, twelve grandchildren; Debbie, Daniel, Jennifer, Stacy, Rhonda, Katie, Shane, Morgan, Jordon, Dakota, Micaiah and Blaze, 14 great-grandchildren, 18 great-great grandchildren and three sisters; Norma, Lila and Florence.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Darlene was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Vicki Tillia, a great-great grandson, Eric, four sisters; Ruth, Kay, Rocielle and Elsie and three brothers; Alvin, Alrex and William.
Friends will be received on Thursday, July 15th from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 97 Grim Ave., Ellport.
A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, July 16th at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place in Slippery Rock Cemetery.
Such a sweet lady haven’t seen her since being at Elwood Kingdom Hall. So sorry to hear of her passing,but she is no longer in pain and she is in Jehovah’s memory.
Darlene did over and above to help so many people…She loved and served Almighty God, our creator, JEHOVAH…JOHN 5:28& 29,,She will be resurrected back to this earth…Can’t wait to see U !!!
