Mr. Steve P. Markovich, Jr., 68, of North Sewickley Township passed away on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at the UPMC Jameson Hospital in New Castle.
Steve was born on July 5, 1952 in Youngstown, Ohio to the late Steve P. and Eileen (Colby) Markovich, Sr.. He had graduated from East High in Youngstown. A baker by trade, Steve had worked for European Bakery, Keystone Bakery, Mom’s Pies, Tomic Bakery, Hillview Manor, and Jameson Hospital. In the past he had enjoyed fishing and roller skating.
He is survived by his wife, Connie (Mazzant) Markovich whom he married on July 26, 1986, his son, Brian Markovich of Ellwood City, and his sister, Mary (Dan) Zelic of Wampum.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Edward L. Markovich.
Family and friends will be received on Monday from 10:00 am until the time of the Service at Noon at the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Crematory Inc. with Rev. R. Tod Custer officiating. Inurnment will be at the Savannah Cemetery in Shenango Twp..
