Portersville Christian School has announced its spring musical.
The school will be performing the classic musical You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown later this month.
Show dates are Friday, April 30th and Saturday, May 1st 7:00 p.m.
Due to pandemic restrictions, seating is limited only to families, but the school is offering a virtual showing both evenings.
The show is under the direction of Mr. Ryan Wise. Cast members include:
- Aleks Delattre – Charlie Brown
- Noelle Ledford – Lucy
- Lauren Gordley – Sally
- Emma VanGent – Snoopy
- Joel Steele – Linus
- Logan Steele – Schroeder
- Molly Castina – chorus
- Robbie Castina – chorus
To order virtual tickets you may either text Snoopy to 724-202-1042 or go to www.ourpcs.org/arts/fine-arts.cfm. Virtual tickets are $20.00 each and are evening specific. You must indicate which evening you would like to watch. The virtual showing is not going to be left up after the scheduled performance so you must watch it at its respective 7:00 p.m. showtime.
According to Wikipedia, You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown is a 1967 musical comedy with music and lyrics by Clark Gesner, based on the characters created by cartoonist Charles M. Schulz in his comic strip Peanuts. The musical has been a popular choice for amateur theatre productions because of its small cast and simple staging.
