Mr. William “Bill” A. Clyde, 80, of Fombell passed away on Monday, April 12th, 2021 at the Butler Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Clyde was born in Ellwood City on March 9, 1941 to the late John O. and Winifred (Pluso) Clyde. He had attended Lincoln High School and is a member of the Lillyville Church of God. Bill was a farmer by trade and a construction superintendent for 30 years. He was a member of the Beaver County Coonhunters Association and the Construction & General Laborers Union Local 833. An outdoorsman, Bill was an avid horseman, hunter, and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra “Sandy” (Bellian) Clyde whom he married on March 18, 1959, his daughter, Lisa Clyde of Fombell, his sons, W. David Clyde of Oneonta, AL and Eric (Corri) Clyde of Fombell, his grandchildren, Joshua Clyde, Shannon Stagerwalt, Sydney Clyde, Catherine Clyde, Carter Clyde, Amelia Clyde, Sawyer Clyde, Marissa Clyde, Kassie Clyde, and Ryleigh Clyde, six great-grandchildren, his mother-in-law, Doris Magill, and his brother, Russell (Susan) Clyde of Fombell. He is also survived by his special nieces, Cledith Price, Lynn Clyde, and Jackie Main, and his nephew/handyman, Bronson Clyde.
Mr. Clyde was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters, Patty Clyde and Rebecca “Becky” Main, and several loved nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday from 1-3 and 5-7:30 pm and on Friday from 10:00 am until the time of the service at 11:00 am at the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Crematory Inc. with Pastor Dennis Arndt officiating. Interment will be at the Lillyville Church of God Cemetery.
Memorial contributions in Mr. Clyde’s name may be made to the Shriners International.
