Charles A. Young Jr., 89, of Ellwood City went to rest with his lord and savior on Tuesday, March 30th, 2021.
Chuck was born in Ellwood City to the late Chuck and Winfred ( Cooney) Young Sr.. He had graduated from Lincoln High School with the class 1949. Chuck enlisted with the U.S. Navy on August 23rd, 1949 and was discharged on September 14th, 1951. He then returned home to work in the office at Aetna Standard in Ellwood City for 35 years. Chuck loved golfing, playing chess, and bowling.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Betty Jo (Crost) Young, his 6 children, 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Dennis “Denny” R. Young.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be no services. Final arrangements have been entrusted to the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Crematory Inc.. Interment will be at the Highland Cemetery in Ohioville.
