Antoinette “Jennie” Ezzo-Popescu, 83, of Ellwood City passed away on Monday, March 22nd, 2021 at her residence.
Jennie was born on October 20, 1937 in Ellwood City to the late Carl P. and Antonetta (Vellucci) Ezzo. She had graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1955. For many years Jennie worked at the Ellwood City Knitting Mill and later for Fotia Brothers Draperies. She is a member of the Jubilee Ministries International Church in New Castle. Jennie enjoyed cooking and exchanging recipes.
She is survived by her brother, Carl (Janis) Ezzo of New Castle, and her nieces and nephews, Randy (Faith) Ezzo, Darrell Ezzo, Kevin (Kelly) Ezzo, Philip Ezzo, Mark (Stephanie) Ezzo, Gabriel (Anthony) Marando, and Brandon (Valarie) Ezzo, and several great-nieces, and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother and sister-in-law, Rev. Domenick and Elsie Ezzo.
Friends and family will be received on Saturday from 9:00 am until the time of the service at 11:00 am at the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Crematory Inc.. Interment will be at the Locust Grove Cemetery.
