Mr. Rudy A. Antinossi, 79, of Ellwood City passed away on Thursday, March 18th, 2021 at the Lakeview Personal Care in Darlington, Pa.
Mr. Antinossi was born on December 10, 1941 in Ellwood City to the late Attilo “Tillie” and Augustine “Augie” Antinossi. He had graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1960. He enlisted with the U.S. Army on February 11, 1964 and served with the Battery B 6th Battalion 32nd Artillery at Fort Lewis in Washington until his discharge on February 10, 1966 with the rank of E-5. He was awarded the Good Conduct Medal. Rudy then worked for the Babcock & Wilcox Steel Mill in Beaver Falls in the maintenance department for 25 years. He is a member of the Holy Redeemer Parish, and the Sons of Italy Lodge #608.
Rudy is survived by his brother, John Antinossi of Ellwood City, his sister, Emily Benson of Prague, Czech Republic, nephews, Matthew (Laura) Antinossi of Hinsdale, IL and Mark (Moonjin) Benson of CA, nieces, Beth (Donnie) Panizales of Cranberry Twp., great-nephews, Joshua and Sam Panizales, Ethan and Luke Antinossi, and great-nieces, Alexia Panizales, and Abby Antinossi.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister-in-law, Cindy (Brown) Antinossi, and nephew, John William Antinossi at birth.
Rudy’s family would like to thank the staff at Lakeview Personal Care and the Heartland Hospice for the excellent care that they gave him.
A private graveside service will be held at the Holy Redeemer Cemetery. The funeral Arrangements are entrusted to the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Crematory Inc..
Memorial contributions in Mr. Antinossi’s name may be made to the Ellwood City Area Public Library.
