The Borough of Ellwood City is happy to introduce the Ellwood City Military Banners Programs to the Veterans who are residents of the Ellwood City area or Lincoln High School graduates.
This does not include active-duty or persons living outside the Ellwood City Borough limits (Chewton, Perry, and Wayne Townships, Ellport, Koppel, and Wampum).
The program includes:
- 24″x18″ Single-sided banner $40.00
- Pole Banner Mounting kit $60.00
- TOTAL: One-time cost of $100.00
To have your loved one included in the program, please complete the form below and submit your check in the amount of $100.00 and a high quality Military Photo.
The banners are double-sided, therefore, if you have someone you would like to share a banner with please include that with the form. If you do not specify they will be randomly assigned. This program is first come, first serve and since there is limited space in the borough, some people may need to be placed on a wait list until the following year. If this were to happen the banners will be placed on a cycle each year.
The banners will be displayed on the light poles of Lawrence Avenue from Memorial Day until Veterans Day.
Printed forms for the banners have been distributed to the following locations: National Grind, Konsigment Konnections, Alborn Tires, Nancy’s Seamstress Shop, and Carla’s Diner.

The project is being led by Gabrielle Gretch, a Riverside graduate, who sought to start the project last October.
