Armstrong Neighborhood Channel Goes “Hunting Nostalgia” In New Television Series

Armstrong Neighborhood Channel is excited to announce its newest television series, Hunting Nostalgia, debuting the week of February 8th.

Nick Bartley, Host & Creator of Hunting Nostalgia, and Elvira Taylor, Co-Host of Hunting Nostalgia, take viewers on the hunt for toys, memorabilia, collectables & much more from the 60s-90s.

Host Nick Bartley

Nick Bartley is a resident of Butler County and has had the lifelong dream of being on television. He originally started a YouTube show called “The Super Short Retro Toy Report” that was seen by a casting director for the History Channel. The premise of the show was Nick and a co-host, Elvira Taylor, would go hunting for toys/memorabilia/collectables all over the United States similar to American Pickers.

The pilot was set to be recorded in March 2020, unfortunately COVID-19 struck and the show has been put on hold with no recording date in sight.

Nick took it upon himself to not let a pandemic stop his passion for nostalgia! He quickly started working on his own YouTube series called Hunting Nostalgia and debuted the series in September 2020. Nick worked with his original co-host, Elvira, to continue what they started when they were put together for their television series. Nick’s segment of each episode revolves around going to local flea markets or collectable stores, going to local collectors to talk about their collection or feature something from his own childhood collection that could bring back memories for viewers.

Host Elvira Taylor

Elvira hosts the middle segment of each episode called “Moment of Nostalgia” that brings her own twist to talk about the episode’s overall theme. Elvira has a very popular YouTube Channel, The Doll Circle, where she talks about past & current topics relating to various brands of dolls. In the very first episode of Hunting Nostalgia, Elvira talks about her collection of Barbie Doll Happy Meal Toys and the nostalgia she has getting the toys when growing up. She provides great content for all ages that helps make Hunting Nostalgia a complete show.

New episodes of Hunting Nostalgia will air starting the week of February 8th, 2021.
