Sara L. Campbell, 86, of Franklin Township passed away at her residence on Friday, January 15, 2021.
Born in Ellwood City on December 9, 1934, Sara was the daughter of the late Alex and Katurah Wineman McLaughlin. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Campbell on December 23, 2017. Sara enjoyed gardening, cooking and walking but mostly the time spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Sara is survived by her 2 sons, Dave Campbell of North Sewickley Twp. and Dan (Lori) Campbell of Franklin Twp., 8 grandchildren, Mike, John and Todd Campbell, Kristen Ford, Renee Hiser, Jesse Vale, Beth Boffo and Sheri Bokor, 10 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren, a brother, Robert McLaughlin of Ellwood City and 2 sisters, Louella Bookamer of Ellwood City and Rachel Hoover of Greensboro, NC.
Besides her parents and husband, Sara was preceded in death by a son, Charles R. Campbell, 2 grandsons, Jeff and Bobby Campbell and 2 brothers, Clark and David McLaughlin.
A Memorial Service for Sara will be held at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory.
