Bailey Dwyer, 19, of North Sewickley Township, passed away Monday, January 4, 2021 at UPMC Montefiore.
Born in Ellwood City on July 3, 2001 Bailey was the daughter of Chad and Becky Follett Dwyer. A 2019 graduate of Riverside High School, Bailey played softball for the Lady Panthers and cheered for 13 years. She was a student-journalist for EllwoodCity.org and also enjoyed theater. Bailey was currently a sophomore at Kent State University, majoring in journalism with a minor in multi-media.
She loved the arts, especially music and writing. She also loved attending concerts and took each of her brothers to their first concerts. Most recently, she decided to take up skateboarding. Friendly and fun-loving, Bailey loved everyone, especially children, who were always drawn to her.
In addition to her parents, Bailey is survived by her brothers, Grayson and Garrett Dwyer, her paternal grandparents, Ronald and Jessie Dwyer of North Sewickley Township, her maternal grandparents, Ronald and Shirley Follett of Franklin Township, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, and her two dogs, Grady and Rider.
Friends will be received on Thursday, January 7th from 4:00 PM to the time of the funeral service at 8:00 PM with Pastor Dennis Arndt at the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 97 Grim Avenue, Ellport. Attendees are required to wear masks and practice social distancing.
