Mr. Lloyd W. Presky, 90, of Ellwood City passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at his residence with his loving family at his bedside.
Mr. Presky was born on September 1, 1930 in Coal Center, PA to the late William F. and Iva (Humphries) Presky. He enlisted with the U.S. Army on January 6, 1948 and served with the 5th Infantry Division until his discharge on January 8, 1952.
He was awarded the Occupation of Germany Medal. He later worked as a tri-state truck driver for Scullion Trucking for 60 years. Lloyd was a member of the Free Methodist Church in Ellwood City, and a former member of the American Legion. He enjoyed spending time with his family and his pets.
He is survived by his wife, Betty (Large) Presky whom he married on October 15, 1955, daughters, Brenda (Ray) Gatto and Lori (Angelo) Martinez both of Yukon, OK, son, Brian (Diana) Presky of Ellwood City, grandchildren, Anthony (Mollie) Gatto, Jordy Gatto, Shelby (Drew) Martinez-Dennis, and Mason Martinez.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Audrey Presky, Lorna Borselli, and Mary F. Skero, and his brothers, Willis Presky, and Francis Presky.
Due to current COVID-19 restrictions a private Memorial Service for Mr. Presky will be held for the family at the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Crematory Inc.. Inurnment will be at the Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
