The Borough of Ellwood City has hired a new part-time police officer.
Officer Salvador “Sal” Zepeda started his first day on the job Wednesday after being hired by Ellwood City Borough Council on Tuesday, October 13, 2020. Zepeda is the departments third part-time officer.
Mayor Anthony Court and Council President George Celli swore in the new officer who started his duties this week. According to the ECPD, Mayor Court and Council President Celli were instrumental in getting Officer Zepeda hired.
