Ellwood City Public Library Activities For Week of October 5th

The Ellwood City Area Public Library offers a variety of weekly activities. Information is available by calling the library at 724-758-6458.

PLEASE NOTE – WE ARE OPEN

The Library will be open by appointment only starting Tuesday, September 29, 2020. Call the library to set up an appointment to browse for books or use a computer. Anything printed must be paid for with exact change or check. We will not be making copies at this time. Newspapers and magazines will not be available. Limitations for patrons are 10 books and three, either books on CD or DVD’s, per person. It is mandatory that everyone wear a mask at all times when entering the building. We will continue curbside pick-up. Please call us with the book(s), authors, genre or recommended material you would like to check out and our staff will see that it is in alphabetical order in the lobby for you. We are still doing our returns in specially marked containers in our lobby. Please do not put any donated books in these bins. 724-758-6458 is the number to call with requests or set-up an appointment.

Hours are Tuesday 10:00 a.m. – 3:45 p.m., Wednesday 10:00 a.m. – 6:15 p.m., and Thursday 10:00 a.m. – 3:45 p.m. Lobby is open during these times for curbside pick-up and returns. Main Library is open by appointment only during these hours. Please remember no one is available to take your calls unless it is in the hours listed above.

Activities taking place this week include.

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 6

10:00 a.m. – “Family Laptime,” this program will be done virtually on the Library’s Facebook page.

WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 7

6:30 p.m. – “Evening Book Group for Adults,” the group will meet via Zoom to discuss the book “Stay” by Catherine Ryan Hyde.

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 8

4:00 p.m. – “Just 4 Girls Book Group,” the group will meet via Zoom to discuss the book “Since You’ve Been Gone” by Morgan Matson.

6:00 p.m. – “Family Laptime,” this program will be done virtually on the Library’s Facebook page.

SAVE THE DATE

Weird and Wacky Wednesdays will start on Wednesday, October 14th at 5:00 p.m. This story and craft program will take place on Zoom. Registration is required for this program. Please call the Library to sign-up.
