Ellwood City Boys Golf Team used strong rounds by Joey Hudson and Milo Sesti to collect a season opening victory over Mohawk on Thursday at Stonecrest Golf Course.
Sesti fired a team low round of 39 while Hudson finished with a round of 40 to lead the victors to its 214-237 victory.
Other Wolverines golfers contributing in victory were Geoffrey Boker (41), Ryan Hampton (43), and Zac Polojac (51). Low round for Mohawk was Jack Barth who fired a round of 42.
The EC Boys Golf Team will next battle Riverside on Tuesday, September 1.

The EC Girls golf team toughed out a rain soaked victory over Elizabeth Forward / Seton LaSalle at DelMar Golf Course. The girls will next host Seneca Valley on Tuesday, September 1 at Connoquenessing Country Club.
