POLICE REPORTS: Criminal Complaints

The following are police criminal complaints filed by the Ellwood City Police Department.

Dog’s Afternoon Out

Just like the rest of us, two local dogs decided that enough was enough with the indoors and took to the sidewalks of Ellwood City. On Tuesday, June 23 Bailey and Brandy, two Newfoundland Poodles, were first spotted out of the blue by the viaduct on Second Street. State Farm employee Marilyn Mancini was the first to report the two at 10:00 AM.

Following through the day, Ellwood City Police later got a second report of the two dogs, this time however they were sitting on local Lisa Nash’s porch on Crescent Avenue. From there, Bailey and Brandy decided to end their adventure at the playground at the Ellwood City Childrens Center where Jodi Celli called to report them.

By noon, Bailey and Brandy were caught and released back with their owner Carol Finley.

Late Night Drive-By

On June 22 at 2:07 AM, Ellwood City Police were asked to help Franklin Township police in a drive by shooting at Wilson Avenue. Caller Thomas Braunbeck, 30, of Wilson Avenue, reported that his house and car had been shot at, but was unable to know who. He told police that no one had been hurt within the residence. Police were unable to make an arrest or press charges, but Beaver County PSP was later on the scene helping collect information and evidence.
