The Ellwood City Summer Playground Program will begin Friday, June 12, 2020.
Early registration will take place thru Friday June 12 from 10:00am to 12:00pm at Shelter #5 in Ewing Park. Proof an “Ellwood City Area School District” address (utility bill, taxes, etc.) and the Driver’s License of the parent/guardian are required. Registration will also be available from Friday June 12th – Friday June 19th.
You must register your child before they are allowed to participate. Children between the ages of 5-12 are eligible.
According to the program Facebook page there will be busing this year. A bus schedule will be available at registration. If your child is riding a bus please make sure that they know what stop to get off at.
The program is taking extra precautions due to the corona virus to ensure every child’s safety. Please do not send children if the have any symptoms or are feeling under the weather. Children are not required to wear mask the staff will be wearing mask to ensure safety. We will be thoroughly cleaning everything throughout the day as well as making sure the kids are washing and sanitizing their hands every hour. We are also taking precautions to split the children into smaller groups than in the past to practice social distancing. Another change for this year is there will be no swimming like there has been in the past due to the corona virus and the cdc guidelines for the pool.
