PHOTOS: LHS Class of 2020 Parade

Lincoln High School’s Class of 2020 enjoyed somewhat of a non-traditional graduation ceremony and ensuing recognition on Tuesday.

Thanks to the county moving to the green phase graduating seniors gathered in the Leslie Sabo auditorium for a traditional ‘tassel turn’ but shortly thereafter all seniors participated in a parade that roamed throughout Ellwood City and its nearby neighborhoods.

“[This] was definitely the most personable commencement ceremony we’ve ever had,” Principal Kirk Lape said this week, citing the attention that was paid to each individual graduate.  Lape has said the events will be filmed and edited into the commencement ceremony film.

  1. Green Zone still has social distancing and masks.
