Wayne Township Announces Modified Meeting

To mitigate the COVID-19 spread, the Wayne Township Supervisor meeting, scheduled for Thursday April 2, 2020 has been modified to transact essential business only.

The Board of Supervisors will be participating in a “Conference Call Business Meeting” for the April Board Meeting.

To maintain a safe environment for our residents and complying with the “Stay-at-Home” mandate by Governor Tom Wolf, the township asks the residents to please contact the township by phone or email for any other issues that may need addressed.

A township official remarked in email, “there will be a meeting but we are trying to discourage attendance due to the pandemic.”

As part of the Lawrence County state of emergency declaration last week, and in light of recent health and safety protocols and in order to protect families as well as township employees and their families, Wayne Township, 1418 Wampum Road, Ellwood City, had stated they will not be open to the public until further notice.
