VOTE: Brady’s Run Arena Named A ‘Renovate the Rink’ Finalist

Brady’s Run Ice Arena has been named a finalist for the 2020 Pittsburgh Penguins “Renovate the Rink” contest!

The rink has a chance to win $100,000 in renovations but they need your vote!  Based on fan voting that is underway now and runs through March 9, one of the rinks will receive the grand prize in renovations.

The three finalists are:

  • Beaver County Ice Arena, Beaver
  • Belmont Complex, Armstrong
  • S&T Arena, Indiana

The Penguins and PittComm will team up to provide $100,000 in materials and construction management services at the winning rink.

More than 400 entries were received during the submission phase of the contest. Rinks in the following counties were eligible: Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Fayette, Indiana, Lawrence, Washington, and Westmoreland.

Last year, Hess Ice Arena in New Castle was named a finalist and enjoyed a buoyed amount of support led by NHL defenceman, and Wampum native, Stephen Johns. [READ MORE]
