Mrs. Jane E. Taylor, 90, of Beaver Falls passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at the UPMC Passavant Hospital in McCandless Twp.
Mrs. Taylor was born on May 10, 1929 in Paden City, West Virginia to the late William Arthur and Izetta (Tippens) Jacobs. A home maker, she enjoyed racing coon hounds with her husband, crocheting, baking, and working puzzles. Jane also was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
She is survived by her daughters, Wanda “Breezy” Locke of Ellwood City, Linda (John) Zachodni of Ellwood City, Mary Jane Perell of Kittaning, and Robin (Ken) Hardy of Wampum, her sons, Pete (Linda) Taylor of Ellwood City, Randy (Susie) Taylor of Irwin, and James (Mikal) Ellwood City, her 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her longtime companion James Wright.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Pete Taylor whom she married in 1954 and passed away in 1973, her granddaughter, Janie Ashton, her grandson, Steven Jett, and her son-in-law, Donald L. Locke.
Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 10:00 am until the time of the memorial service at 11:00 am at the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Crematory Inc. with Rev. R. Tod Custer officiating. Interment will be at the Locust Grove Cemetery.
