Ivia Freed, 75, of Ellwood City, passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at Heritage Valley Beaver.
Born in Ellwood City on October 13, 1944, Ivia was the daughter of the late Edward and Dorothy Allison Lutz. She retired from Patty’s Cleaning Service where she worked for many years. Ivia was an amazing person with a heart of gold. She loved her family with all her heart and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Ivia is survived by her children: Vickie Bookamer, Kim Freed Gilmore, Doug Freed, Christopher (Kim) Freed, and Danny Freed, all of Ellwood City, her 9 grandchildren: Annie (Ryan) Pander, Jenny Gilmore, Hallie Gilmore, Kellie (Blaze Herrmann) Gilmore, Katie Gilmore and her fiancé Thomas Sedgwick, John “Jay” Gilmore, Braden Freed, Karly Freed and Sophia McLean, her 5 great-grandchildren: Arianna Gilmore, Landon Gilmore, Jasmine Herrmann, Brennen Runt and Claire Pander, her sister, Catherine Hayhurst of Valparaiso, IN and her dog, Benny.
In addition to her parents, Ivia was preceded in death by a brother, Fred Lutz and a niece Connie Lutz.
A memorial service will be held for Ivia on Saturday, January 11th from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Tin Cup Grille at Del Mar Golf Course. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 97 Grim Avenue, Ellport.
