Mia Vespaziani Damato, 53, of Ellwood City passed away on Monday, November 25, 2019 at Heritage Valley Beaver.
Born in Aliquippa on September 21, 1966, Mia was the daughter of the late Paul and Judith Evasovich Vespaziani. She graduated from Lincoln High School in 1984 and then from the Duquesne University School of Pharmacy in 1989. She married Charles Damato on October 7, 1989 and they celebrated 30 years of marriage last month. Mia worked as the Director of Quality Control for Pharmacy Systems, Inc. of Dublin, Ohio and she was a member of Holy Redeemer Parish. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, whether it was camping or getting together for the big Sunday dinners she would make. She especially enjoyed the time spent with her nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, Mia is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Amy and Barry Agostinelli of Perry Township, her brother and sister-in-law, Jon and Laura Vespaziani of Canton, Michigan, six nieces and nephews: Stephanie Damato, Nikol Damato, Mia Agostinelli, Angelo Agostinelli, Joseph Vespaziani and Jack Vespaziani and she will be missed by her goldendoodle, Sammi.
Friends will be received on Friday, November 29th from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 97 Grim Avenue, Ellport. A Blessing Service will take place at the funeral home following the visitation at 6:00 PM with Fr. Mark Thomas. Interment will take place in Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
