In what may feel like annual conditions, wet weather and rain met those who paraded Lawrence Avenue on Saturday as part of the annual Ellwood City Halloween Parade.
Many onlookers grabbed an umbrella and jacket to enjoy costumes, candy, and floats. The parade began at Holy Redeemer and continued west on Lawrence Avenue to 8th Street before returning on Crescent Avenue.
Many area Trick or Treats are scheduled for Thursday evening. The Borough of Ellwood City will hold trick or treating from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
