The Riverside Boys Golf Team advanced to the 2019 WPIAL Class-AA Team Finals after posting a team score of 430 on Tuesday at Beaver Valley Golf Club.
Skyler Fox fired a round of 72 (32-40) to lead the Panthers while fellow senior Justin Hand finished with a round of 75 for the Panthers. Ethan Ilarski (95), Logan Greer (88), and Liam Grinner (100) also contributed to the team’s total.
Sewickley Academy (386) and Neshannock (429) joined Riverside in advancing from the semifinal bracket. The AA Championship will now consist of those three teams plus North Catholic, Quaker Valley and Derry. The second semifinal bracket was held at River Forest Golf Course this week.
The WPIAL Team Finals will be held this Thursday at Cedarbrook Golf Course.
