Victor P. Jacobs, 81

Mr. Victor P. Jacobs, 81, of Franklin Township passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at the Good Samaritan Hospice in Beaver.

Mr. Jacobs was born on August 26, 1938 in New Martinsville, West Virginia to the late Joseph and Yetta (Baker) Jacobs. Victor had worked at the Ellwood City Iron and Wire and later at Industrial Equipment Fabricators, Inc. in Ellwood City as a welder and layout man. He liked playing slow pitch softball for the Ellwood City Men’s Slow Pitch Softball League. An outdoorsman, Victor was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed listening to old-time country music. Mostly, spending time with his family and friends was his greatest joy.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy (Averill) Jacobs whom he married on August 18, 1961, his daughter, Debby Smalley of Franklin Twp., his sons, Robert (Susan) Jacobs of Volant, Dean (Jeribeth) Jacobs of New Castle, and Michael (Jennifer) Jacobs of Marion Twp., his ten grandchildren, and his eight great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters, Edna Scheidemantle of Harmony, Shelby Hall of Franklin Twp., and Sonja (Mark) Boots of Wayne Twp., and his brothers, Wayne (Patty) Jacobs of Wayne Twp., Larry (Barbara) Jacobs of Ellwood City, David (Joyce) Jacobs of Ellwood City, Keith (Docia) Jacobs of North Sewickley Twp., Jay (Terry) Jacobs of Harlensburg, and Mark (Anita) Jacobs of Perry Twp., and his sister-in-law, Virginia Jacobs.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, Dennis Jacobs and Jeffrey Jacobs, and his brothers-in-law, Kenny Scheidemantle and Gary Hall.

A private visitation and service for the family will be held on Saturday at the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Crematory Inc. with Rev. Dennis Arndt of the Lillyville Church of God officiating.
