Mary M. Magnifico, 89, of Ellwood City, passed away in her residence, on Saturday, July 13, 2019 surrounded by her family.
Born in Beaver Falls on April 13, 1930, Mary was the daughter of the late Domenic and Agnes Muoio Morelli. She married Thomas Magnifico on June 26, 1954 and he preceded her in death on September 22, 2015 after 61 years of marriage. Mary was a member of Holy Redeemer Parish. She loved her family, and she absolutely loved taking care of her eight grandchildren.
Mary is survived by her three children and their spouses: Thomas A. & Cyndi Magnifico of Grand Rapids, MI, Tina & Mark Zielinski of Ellwood City, Rob and Kim Magnifico of Ellwood City, a brother and sister-in-law, Robert & Norma Morelli of Beaver Falls, 8 grandchildren: Lauren & Bruce Melancon, Christopher Magnifico, Mark & Sarah Zielinski, Kristin & Colton Buchanan, Erin Zielinski, Nico Magnifico, Vincent Magnifico and his fiancée, Brittney Cruise, Michaela Magnifico and three great-grandchildren; Frances J. Melancon, Thomas Zielinski and Emelyn Magnifico.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, July 17th from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 97 Grim Avenue, Ellport.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, July 18th at 10:00 AM at Holy Redeemer Church with Fr. Mark Thomas. Entombment will follow in Assumption Mausoleum at Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
