Benefit Run Pig Roast

The Yellow Ribbon Girls and the American Legion Riders will be hosting a Benefit Run Pig Roast on Saturday, June 1.

Donations from the benefit will help support not only the Yellow Ribbon Girls and the American Legion Riders, but the Navy Vietnam Veteran Rick Cantolina as well as many other veterans in need.

Registration begins at 11:00 a.m. with motorcycles, cars, and trucks welcomed to sign up. The ride will begin at 12:00 p.m. with first bikes out and the last bikes out will be at 12:30. The picnic will proceed to begin at 4:30 p.m. Dice will be rolled on the riders return to the picnic.

The cost will be $15 a rider, and $5 a passenger. For picnic walk in’s the cost is $10 and children 10 and under cost $5.

There will be a $200 prize to the highest rolled number along with music by Tom Ackerman and Gary Schweiger. At the picnic, there will be adult beverages, pop, water, 50/50 raffle, a basket raffle, and picnic food. This will go on rain or shine, with the picnic either being indoors or outdoors weather according.

The event will be at 1341 Route 68 in Rochester, Pa.
