The Lincoln High School Choral Department will be presenting our spring concert next Friday night, May 10th.
“We are very proud to be celebrating this amazing milestone with two special concerts on May 10th and May 11th,” said Senior High Choral Director Felecia Greco. “This is an event not to be missed!”
The concert will begin at 7:00 pm and feature seven different choirs with students in grades 5-12. There will also be solo songs performed by Lincoln seniors and two of those seniors will be honored with the Outstanding Choral Student award and the Choral Department Scholarship. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students and senior citizens. The doors will open at 6:00 pm.
On May 11th, more than 90 alumni will be coming from all over the country to perform in a special 75-anniversary alumni benefit concert alongside the Ellwood City Civic Chorale and the Lincoln High School Choral Capers. All of the proceeds from this event will go to the Cindy Pertile Scholarship Fund for Lincoln students. There will be choral pieces performed by the entire group plus solos and small group numbers by some of Ellwood City’s most well-known alumni.
There will also be 30 plus amazing baskets being raffled off to raise additional funds for the scholarship and this year’s scholarship recipient will be announced.
Tickets for the Alumni Benefit Concert are $10 and can be ordered by calling 724-752-1591, ext 3002. Tickets will also be sold at the door, which will open at 6 pm that night.
