National Day Of Prayer Planned At Community Plaza

There will be a National Day of Prayer event held at the Ellwood City Community Plaza on Lawrence Avenue. The event will start at 11:45 a.m. and end at 1:00 p.m. In case of rain, the event will be moved to the Badlands (the old 5th Street Diner) 225 Fifth St.

There will be a complimentary Luncheon to follow at the Bandlands. This luncheon is co-sponsored by Ellport and Moravia Presbyterian Churches.

Music will be provided by the Sisters of the Holy Transfiguration Monastery. The Pledge of Allegiance will be lead by Mayor Anthony Court and the National Anthem will be led by Jessica Murphy, the Moravia Presbyterian Contemporary Music Director.
