Cynthia A. Glogowski, 64 of Franklin Twp., passed away at her residence on Saturday, April 20, 2019.
Born in Ellwood City on August 2, 1954, Cynthia was the daughter of the late Dale A. and Pearl D. Long Brown, Sr. She is survived by her husband, Henry P. “Hank” Glogowski whom she married on October 8, 1977. Cynthia worked for Dr. Biscelia and Dr. Moore and later worked at the Ellwood Area Public Library. An active member of Holy Redeemer Church, Cindy sang in the choir, was a member of Christian Mothers, Social Club, the Festival and Bazaar Committees. Cindy was always available to make pierogi, pizza and Easter bread in the church hall. Her sense of humor and her joy for life will always be cherished by her family and friends. Cindy was a graduate of the Lincoln High School Class of 1972.
Besides her husband Hank, Cindy is survived by her 2 daughters, Janet (Jacob) Glogowski-Ninas of Gambrills, MD and Laura (Adam) Ferguson of Ashland, KY, she was beloved Nana to her grandsons, Max and Ben Ferguson. Also surviving is a sister, Patricia (Randy) Chronister of Slippery Rock and a brother, Dale A. (Bev) Brown, Jr. of Ellwood City.
Besides her parents, Cindy was preceded in death by her beloved dog, Daisy.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at Holy Redeemer Church on Thursday, April 25, 2019 at 10 AM with Fr. Mark L. Thomas. Interment will follow in Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 97 Grim Avenue, Ellport on Wednesday from 2 PM to 4 PM and from 6 PM to 8 PM.
Family suggest memorial contribution can be made in Cynthia’s name to the Lawrence Co. Humane Society, 628 Pearson Mill Rd, New Castle, PA 16101 or the American Heart Association, 444 Liberty Ave #1300, Pittsburgh, PA 15222.
