Seth Stewart, a premier New York Dancer, Choreographer, will be presenting during a master class workshop on Friday, April 19, hosted by Diamond Dance Academy. He will be holding two sessions: 5:15p – 6:45 p.m. FUNKY JAZZ/HIP HOP JAM! (Ages 12 & Under) and a 7:00p – 8:30p.m. FUNKY JAZZ/HIP HOP JAM! (Ages 13 & Up).
The price is $30 for your 1st class and a $25 fee for an additional class with a $5 observer fee. You do not need a Diamond Dance Academy registration and autographs will be signed.
Seth is one of today’s most exciting and energetic all-around entertainers! Recently, Seth performed as Marquis de Lafayette/Thomas Jefferson, after previously being an original Broadway cast member in the Grammy Award Winning hit show, Hamilton the Musical.
Seth has performed in the Tony Award Winning Musical “IN THE HEIGHTS” as Graffiti Pete; as well as all over the world on Tours with today’s artists, such as Madonna, Jay-Z, Britney Spears, and Paula Deanda, just to name a few. He has also performed on Broadway in Sweet Charity. Seth can be seen in numerous commercials and movies including Amp’d mobile, Budweiser, SNL, VH1 Divas, “Friends with Benefits” Staring Mila Kunis and Justin Timberlake; “Music and Lyrics” with Hugh Grant and Drew Barrymore and “Sex & the City” with Sarah Jessica Parker. He has produced numerous music videos, commercials & can be seen in a variety of On-Screen performances.
Diamond Dance Academy, LLC. a family owned business located in Ellwood City, Pennsylvania, a place our athletes call home. Our facility is fully equipped and is the only gym within a 20-mile radius with an Olympic size spring floor. Programs are available for children of all ages. Classes offered will include recreational and competitive dance, tumbling for girls and boys, preschool and recreational gymnastics, competition cheer, karate, clinics, open gym time, and various events throughout the year. Our facility is designed to provide a safe environment for everyone and kids will be trained by certified coaches. We are excited to offer your child both recreational and competitive programs all under one roof!
MacKenzie Barkey, a gymnastics coach who has been with DDA for 6 years said, “I want to see more kids involved in gymnastics. Children will be able to learn leadership skills, gain self-confidence, maintain a healthy lifestyle, and most of all make friendships that will last a lifetime.”
We offer the following tumbling and gymnastics classes: Mommy & Me, Tumble Tots/Preschool, Beginner Tumbling, Beginner/Intermediate, Intermediate, Backhandspring Class, Intermediate/Advanced, Advanced Tumbling, and an All Events Class. Each class is designed to focus specific skills for students to set goals and achieve them.
On April 13, we are having an open house for kids interested in joining classes from 9a.m.-12 noon. We will assess your child to see what class best fits their skill level and age group.
For those who’d rather not be interested in being part of the team or being a part of a structured class, Diamond Dance Academy also offers birthday party packages, camps in the summer, and open gym time on Saturdays from 12-1p.m.
